HOW IT WORKS

CoolSculpting works through a process called cryolipolysis — the targeted application of controlled cooling to freeze fat cells beneath the skin. Fat cells are uniquely sensitive to cold temperatures and can be destroyed at temperatures that leave the surrounding skin and tissue completely unharmed. During treatment, an applicator is placed on the targeted area, delivering precise cooling to the fat layer below. Over the following weeks, the body naturally processes and eliminates the destroyed fat cells through its lymphatic system, gradually reducing the fat layer in the treated area. The result is a visibly slimmer, more contoured appearance that develops naturally over time.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your appointment begins with a consultation to identify your target areas and determine the best treatment plan. The CoolSculpting applicator is then positioned on the area and remains in place for approximately 35 to 45 minutes per cycle. During treatment you may feel an initial sensation of cold and mild suction, which typically subsides within a few minutes as the area becomes numb. The experience is comfortable enough that most clients read, work on their phones, or simply relax during the session. There is no downtime — you can return to all normal activities immediately after your appointment. Some temporary redness, numbness, or mild bruising in the treated area is normal and resolves on its own.

LONG-LASTING RESULTS

Results begin to appear around three weeks after treatment as the body starts eliminating destroyed fat cells, with the most dramatic changes visible at two to three months. The fat cells treated with CoolSculpting are permanently eliminated — they do not grow back. Maintaining a stable weight will help preserve your results long term. Most clients achieve their desired outcome in one to three sessions per area.
