WHAT THEY ARE

Neurotoxins — commonly called wrinkle relaxers or neuromodulators — are injectable treatments that temporarily relax the facial muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles. Dynamic wrinkles are the lines that form from repeated facial expressions such as squinting, frowning, and raising the brows. Over time these repeated muscle contractions etch lines into the skin that become visible even at rest. Neurotoxin injections interrupt the nerve signal that tells the muscle to contract, allowing the overlying skin to smooth out and the line to soften or disappear. All neurotoxins use purified botulinum toxin type A as their active ingredient and are among the most researched, studied, and widely performed cosmetic treatments in the world. OUR NEUROTOXIN OPTIONS

Botox — The most recognized name in aesthetic medicine and the global gold standard for wrinkle relaxation. Botox has over two decades of safety data and remains the most widely performed non-surgical cosmetic treatment in the world. Results typically appear within 5 to 7 days and last 3 to 4 months.

Dysport — A slightly thinner formulation that spreads more easily across larger areas, making it particularly well suited for the forehead and brow. Dysport often shows results faster than Botox, with many clients noticing effects within 2 to 3 days. Results last approximately 3 to 4 months.

Xeomin — Often called the "naked" neurotoxin because it contains only the pure active botulinum toxin with no accessory proteins. This makes Xeomin an excellent choice for clients who have developed resistance to other neurotoxins over time, or those with sensitivities. Results appear within 3 to 4 days and last 3 to 4 months.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Neurotoxin appointments are quick, comfortable, and require no downtime. After a brief consultation and cleanse of the treatment area, your provider uses an ultra-fine needle to deliver precise injections into the targeted muscles. Most clients describe the sensation as a tiny pinch lasting a fraction of a second per injection. The entire appointment typically takes 15 to 30 minutes. You may notice mild redness or small bumps at the injection sites, which resolve within minutes to a few hours. There are no restrictions on activity — you can return to your normal day immediately after your appointment.

LONG-LASTING RESULTS

Results typically appear within 2 to 7 days depending on the formulation chosen, with full effect visible within 2 weeks. Standard neurotoxins last 3 to 4 months. Regular maintenance appointments help relax the muscles consistently over time, which can gradually reduce the depth of lines even between treatments. Many clients find they need slightly less product over time with consistent treatment.
